Sphynx are a very unique breed and they have unique needs. Although they are considered naked, they do have a very fine, short coat which feels like peach fuzz. Some Sphynx have more coat than others. Because their coat is so short, they do produce oils which would normally go into a coat. Sphynx do require regular bathing. Each Sphynx is individual and the amount of bathing will vary with each individual. On average, they should be bathed every one to two weeks. They also produce wax in their ears and and on their nails which need to be cleaned regularly.
